Is Studio included with my UpKeep plan?
Studio access is included starting at the Premium tier. The level of access — marketplace apps, app builder, and active app limits — scales with your plan. There's no separate purchase required.
What counts as an "active app"?
An active app is any app currently deployed and available to a user — whether it came from the marketplace or was built with the app builder. The limit applies per org and varies by plan.
Can I use marketplace apps and Concierge apps together?
Yes. Your active app limit covers marketplace, custom, and Concierge apps combined. Mix and match however works best for your team.
What is Studio Concierge?
Studio Concierge pairs you with an UpKeep Forward Deployed Engineer who works directly with your operations team to design and ship apps tailored to your specific workflows. It's available as a paid add-on for customers on Premium and above.
Do I need developers to use Studio?
No. The app builder uses a chat interface — describe what you need in plain language and Studio builds it. For more complex needs, Studio Concierge pairs you with an UpKeep Forward Deployed Engineer.
Is Studio secure?
Studio runs on UpKeep's infrastructure using the same login, permissions, and security your team already uses. It's SOC 2 compliant and doesn't require any new accounts, third-party access, or additional credentials.
Are there limits to what I can build in Studio?
Studio apps have full access to the UpKeep API, so the scope of what you can build is defined by the data and actions available through the platform. There are no artificial restrictions on app complexity or functionality.
Why use Studio instead of traditional integrations?
Traditional integrations are generic — they move data between systems but don't adapt to how your team actually works. Studio apps are built around your specific workflows, using your real UpKeep data.
